Reserve PRH 307 for Digital Humanities Courses

The Digital Humanities Lab in Presidents Hall 307 is a research and teaching space for computationally intensive work in the humanities. Featuring 8 Mac Studio Desktops and 4 Dell XPS Desktops, the space is designed for small group instruction. Software installed on the machines can be viewed at https://bit.ly/PRH307-Computers. If additional software is needed, please email reldl@ua.edu with the details for the request. All software installation is managed by eTech.

The A&S Lab can be booked by faculty for use with small undergraduate and graduate classes (room capacity is roughly 15) that directly require/employ the technology for the class. It is to be booked during regular business hours only. Faculty are to be present during the time the lab is in use and are responsible for leaving the space as it was found.

To book the space, please email reldl@ua.edu. We will confirm availability of the space and set up an initial orientation to the technology in the room for the faculty member booking the space. Faculty using the Digital Humanities Lab are also encouraged to participate in the Digital Humanities Working Group and to present on their digital scholarship and use of the space at a future time.
